પ્રસ્તુત નાટક કાવ્યત્મક અલંકારોથી શણગારેલુ માતૃપ્રેમને વ્યક્ત કરતું નાટક છે.એક વંટોળમાં ચાતકમાતા અને તેનું બાળક વિખૂટાં પડી જાય છે. જેમાં બાળક વીજળી તેની મનખા દેહી માતાને ગુમાવી અતૃપ્ત બને છે. જેને પરીમા આવી પોતાના વાત્સલ્યનાં વારિ પીવડાવે છે. આ એક કાલ્પનિક કથાબીજ છે જેમાં પ્રેમની પરિભાષા આપવાનો પ્રયાસ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
