પ્રસ્તુત નાટકના નામ ઊપરથી જ તેના કથાનકનો અંદાજ આપણને આવી જાય છે.નાટ્યકારે બીજા રસોની સાથે મુખ્યરસ તરીકે હાસ્યરસ દર્શાવ્યો છે.એક શેઠ જે ધરઙે ધઙપણ પરણવાના કોઙ લઈને બેઠા છે.એ પણ પોતાની દીકરીની ઊંમરની છોકરી જોઙે, મનોજ અને મીનાના પ્રણયમાં બીજા પાત્રોના આગમનથી થતી ઊથલ-પથલ , તેના લીધે નિપજતું હાસ્ય, ચિંગૂસ શેઠના પૈસા ચોરાવા, શેઠનો હાયપીટિયો અંતે બધુ સમુસૂતરુ પાર પઙવું. આ નાટક પ્રેક્ષકોને હળવુંફૂલ મનોરંજન પુરુ પાઙે છે. આ નાટક બે અંકોમાં વહેચાયેલું છે.
