આ નાટકમાં એક એવા વૃધ્ધદંપતીની વાત આલેખાઈ છે.જેઓનું જીવન હવે આથમવા તરફ ધસી રહ્યું છે,અમેરિકામાં ભણવા ગયેલો દીકરો ત્યાં જ રહી જાય છે.સતત એના આગમનને ઝંખતુ આ વૃધ્ધ દંપતી ,દીરકા દ્વારા કરાતી અવગણનાઓ,સતત કોરી ખાતી એકલતા.માણસે પૈસા પાછળ આંધળી દોટ ના મુકવી જોઈયે , પરિવારથી વિશેશ મહત્વ ભૌતિકતાને ના આપવું જોઈયે તેવો સંદેશ આપે છે.
