આ એક ઐતિહાસિક નાટક છે. જેમાં એક વીર પુરુષના જીવન વૃતાંતથી જનસમાજને જ્ઞાત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. ઈ.સ. ૧૭૬૧ના પાણીપતના યાદગાર યુદ્ધમાં પૂર્ણ પ્રખ્યાત થયેલા ભારત વિજયી પેશવાના સહકારી સેનાપતિ સિંધીયા મહારાજની વાત કરવામાં આવી છે. નીતિવાન નરોના આગેવાન અંગ્રેજ ગ્રંથકારોએ પણ આમને સન્માન આપી વીરનર તરીકે સ્વીકાર્યા છે. તેમના જીવનયાત્રાની વાત આ નાટકમાં કરવામાં આવી છે જેનો મુખ્ય હેતુ પ્રેક્ષકવર્ગને આત્મવિશ્વાસ પૂરો પાડવાનો છે.
