આ નાટકમાં યુવાન પુત્ર અને યુવાન વયે વિધવા થયેલી માતાની વાત છે. સતત માતાનું સાનિધ્ય ઝંખતો પુત્ર માતા ઊપર નિયમો લાદી દે છે ,વાત-વાતમાં શંકા, ગુસ્સો,ઝધડવું,પુરુષ પ્રધાન સમાજનો દંભ અહીં વર્ણવાયો છે વિધવા તરીકે કેવા બંધનો અને તકલીફોનો સામનો કરવો પઙે છે સ્ત્રીઓને , પરંપરાના નામે જઙતા અને નર્યો અંધવિશ્વાસ આવા કેટલાય પાસાઓને આવરી લે છે.
